Detectable job-term coverage (not an ATS score)
This will show the share of detected job-description terms also found in the pasted resume.
Shared terms
Detected in both documents. Place each term near truthful evidence, not in a keyword list alone.
Job terms not found in pasted resume

Candidate-only terms
0Detected only in your resume. They may still matter even if this role does not name them.

How this local wording check labels matches
Exact wording found means the same written term appears in both texts. Formatting-normalized match means harmless punctuation or spacing differs, such as front-end and front end. Known wording equivalent means a visible abbreviation list matched, such as AWS and Amazon Web Services. Anything else is shown as not found in the pasted resume; that does not prove a person lacks the skill.
Always review these manually
Years and level of experience, degrees, certifications, work authorization, clearance, location, availability, portfolio evidence, and screening questions need human review. They are not part of the wording-coverage figure. Do not change protected personal information to match a job post.
Truthful tailoring checklist

Truth-preserving AI tailoring prompt
This prompt includes the text you pasted. Copy it only to an AI service you trust. It explicitly forbids invented experience and asks the AI to flag uncertainty.
The prompt is generated locally. It does not submit your resume or job description anywhere until you choose to paste it into another service.
How This Resume Keyword Check Works
The tool looks locally for clear technology names, common professional phrases, and meaningful individual words in the two texts. It then compares exact normalized terms. It can miss synonyms, different wording, context, qualifications hidden in a portfolio, and the rules used by a particular employer’s screening system.
- Paste a clean, truthful plain-text copy of your resume and the full job description.
- Review the shared terms and make sure each one is backed by evidence in the resume.
- Review terms not found in the resume. Add only skills and evidence you truly have; otherwise leave them out.
- Use the generated AI prompt only as an editing brief, then verify every line before applying.
Why Keyword Coverage Is Not an ATS Score
Employers use different systems and may weigh job history, section headings, dates, formatting, recency, screening questions, location, and human review. This page cannot access those rules. A higher overlap can help you notice language worth reviewing, but it does not measure your suitability or predict an interview.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does this upload my resume or job description?
No. The comparison runs in your browser with JavaScript. ToolStacky does not receive, save, or send the text you paste.
Will this guarantee my resume passes an ATS?
No. The coverage figure is an exact local wording comparison, not an ATS score or hiring prediction. Every employer can use different criteria.
Should I add every missing keyword?
No. Add a term only when you can truthfully support it with your real experience, education, training, certification, or project work. Never fabricate skills or results.
Can I use the AI prompt safely?
It is designed to ask for truthful editing only and to flag uncertain claims. You still need to review every suggested line, and you should avoid sharing private material with an AI service you do not trust.
